Happy Birthday!

With a gasp of surprise (literally, I made noise and everything), I realized this little blog is almost 2* years old!

I started it as a lark back on April 27, 2007, thinking I'd grow tired of it as I had with most diaries and journals in the past, but for some reason (the medium maybe?) I've kept it going through moves, jobs, men, births, deaths, tears, laughter, and everything in between.

To celebrate, I've picked a solid selection of entries (older to newer), chosen for random reasons as some of my faves (most of the older ones I look at and think, "I wrote that??").

Hope you enjoy this look back as much as I do. And here's to another great year of brain vomit :)

*yes, there was a birthday cake on here with a three on it. sadly, I haven't gotten any smarter in the intervening years and still can't seem to count....sigh. in my defense (albeit a weak one), this is the third April in which I've been blogging so I got confused/didn't really think enough about it.
